Terms of Service

1. Agreement and testnet scope

These Terms govern your access to Vex Market. The current service uses Base Sepolia and test tokens intended for testing, not real-value commerce. These Terms do not state that Vex Market is legally available in every location. By accepting this policy bundle or using protected account and commerce features, you agree to these Terms and the Marketplace Rules.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must have reached the age of majority where you live, be able to enter a binding agreement, and not be prohibited from using the service. Keep your email, passkeys, recovery codes, sessions, and connected wallets secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping your account information accurate. Notify [email protected] promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Vex Market's role

Vex Market provides software for listing discovery, private messaging, order records, buyer-side transaction preparation, stock coordination, and observation of public-chain events for order status and moderation. A trade is a direct agreement between the buyer and seller. Vex Market is not the buyer, seller, payment recipient, delivery provider, or escrow provider. Vex Market never holds sale funds, receives sale proceeds, or has authority to sign or submit wallet transactions for you.

4. Listings, orders, and delivery

Sellers must have the right to offer each listing and must describe its contents, price, stock, restrictions, and delivery terms accurately. Buyers must review those details before ordering. An order record and temporary stock reservation coordinate a proposed trade but do not guarantee payment, delivery, quality, legality, or suitability. Sellers remain responsible for delivery and buyers remain responsible for confirming what they receive.

5. Testnet payments and wallet risks

Checkout displays unsigned transaction data to a buyer-controlled wallet. The buyer chooses whether to authorize and submit it, and the test-token payment moves through the configured Base Sepolia pass-through contract from the buyer to the seller's payout wallet. Public-chain activity can be visible permanently and may be irreversible. You are responsible for checking the network, token, amount, destination, wallet security, and transaction details before authorizing it. Vex Market cannot sign or submit wallet transactions for you, recover tokens, or reverse public-chain transfers.

Wallet software, RPC providers, smart contracts, and blockchains are third-party systems that may fail, delay, change, or contain defects. Do not treat testnet balances or testnet order records as evidence that a real-value transaction would behave identically.

6. Problems, refunds, and operator review

Buyers and sellers should first use Vex Messages to coordinate delivery. Eligible order pages may provide reporting or seller-initiated refund workflows. A report can pause new checkout for the reported seller and can lead to operator review, listing removal, or account suspension. Vex Market does not promise a particular outcome, reimbursement, payment reversal, or recovery. Any refund is a separate wallet transaction authorized by the seller. This testnet bundle does not establish adjudicated buyer-seller dispute outcomes.

7. Costs and taxes

Vex Market is free to use. It has no listing fees, transaction fees, commissions, subscriptions, promotions, or other paid features, and it receives no part of buyer-to-seller payments. Network, wallet, internet, or other third-party costs may still apply. Buyers and sellers are responsible for determining, reporting, and paying taxes or duties that apply to their own activity.

8. User responsibilities and publisher rules

You must follow applicable law and the Marketplace Rules. Game publishers and other platforms may prohibit, restrict, or refuse to recognize transfers, and may suspend or terminate accounts or assets. Vex Market does not determine whether a trade is permitted by a publisher. You are responsible for reviewing those rules and accepting the risk that a game account, item, currency, service, or transfer may be restricted, changed, or lost.

9. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Vex Market a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, display, format, and moderate that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You confirm that you have the rights needed to grant this licence. Report claimed infringement or misuse to [email protected]. Vex Market names, branding, software, and original site content remain protected by their respective rights.

10. Third-party services

Authentication providers, wallet infrastructure, blockchain networks, RPC providers, image delivery, email delivery, hosting, and error-monitoring services operate under their own terms and policies. Vex Market is not responsible for their availability, security, decisions, or changes. Links to other services do not imply endorsement.

11. Service changes and enforcement

The testnet service may be changed, interrupted, limited, or discontinued. Vex Market may reject content, remove listings, limit features, suspend accounts, or preserve records when reasonably needed for security, policy enforcement, service integrity, or legal obligations. You may stop using the service at any time. Account deletion can be limited when order history must be retained for marketplace integrity or legal reasons.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vex Market is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, accuracy, security, seller reliability, buyer reliability, delivery, asset value, or legal suitability. Some jurisdictions do not allow particular exclusions, so those exclusions apply only where permitted.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vex Market will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, data, digital assets, access, reputation, or opportunity. Vex Market's total liability arising from the service will not exceed US$100. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

14. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold Vex Market and its service operators harmless from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your listings, content, trades, delivery, taxes, violation of these Terms or the Marketplace Rules, infringement of another person's rights, or misuse of the service.

15. Policy changes

The effective date and policy-bundle version identify the Terms you accepted. Material changes require a new acceptance before protected account or commerce features can be used. Continued access to public browse pages does not replace acceptance when acceptance is required.
